ЧТО-ЧТО (чего-чего и т. п. ), A... coll NP + Conj used as a restr. marker) used to single out one thing, phenomenon etc (or group of things, phenomena etc) among others: что-что, a X (делать X)... = perhaps not something else, but ( s.o. will do (give etc)) X if anything, X is... whatever else..., but... say what you like, but... (when foil. by a clause with negated predic) that's the last thing ( s.o. will do etc)

чего-чего, a X-a... (чему-чему, a X-y... и т. п. ) = if there's anything..., it's X

there's one thing...and that's X.
